How to choose the right materials to build a house

1. Cement

========================

Cement is one of the most important raw materials for building a house. In the case of masonry or masonry or concrete, cement is the key to holding small stones, wire and sand together. There are many types of cement in Sri Lanka. These are the ones that come on the market. When buying cement, make sure that there is a quality certificate. It should be neatly printed on the outer cover. Most of the cements currently on the market have SLS certification, but I personally recommend always buying corporate cement. Gentlemen do not like corporate cement. It takes a little longer for the cement to harden and the skin of the hands to be more flexible, but the strength of the cement that hardens more rapidly than the cement that hardens quickly. Use corporate cement whenever possible. If you buy more than one batch of cement at a time (more than 25) you can have it delivered to your doorstep at the same price as the dealer in your area. It can also be bought for around Rs. 15 less than the shop price.

2. Sand

========================= It is an essential raw material in the construction industry. Pure river sand is suitable for construction. Avoid buying very small and large amounts of sand, too much gravel. Always buy medium to medium sized sand. During high rainy seasons, river sand mixes with silt. Be careful with river sand as well as sand deposits. Sand is deposited. Treasure sands are often very small. Slightly unsuitable for caulking.

3. Stone

===========================

Stones are mainly used for laying foundations and concrete. Large stones and small pieces of gravel about 9 ″ x 12 මට are used for the foundation. Light black stones are more robust. 3/4 ″ sized stones are used for concrete. The same applies to large stones and small stones of the same size (3/4 ″) than mixed concrete stones. Buy. There are times when some stone mills spray water on inferior rocks and turn them black to deceive the consumer. Also be careful.

4. Wire

=========================

Strength is key when laying a concrete one. Although there are many different types of wire on the market, corporate wires are arguably the strongest, most stressed and finished of all. You can see this by comparing one type of corporation wire and another type of wire. Slightly more expensive so use only corrugated wire for columns, beams and upstairs only.

5.Bricks

=========================

Used to bind the walls of a house. There are two types of bricks: engineering bricks and baked bricks. Engineering bricks are smaller in size. Small bricks are quicker and burn better than large bricks, but sometimes there are bricks that look very good on the outside but not on the inside. These are "copper bricks". Inspect the broken bricks when laying bricks. Then do not buy if the copper bricks seem to be in abundance. Also, if there are a lot of bricks that are not properly browned on the outside, one side is red and the other side is yellow, avoid buying bricks from that place as well.

Is it true or not that sometimes a plot of land isn’t suitable to build this shipping container home? I am quite interested with this shipping container home and can use it as my reference in the future.
